Interpretation

Interpretation is a mission-based communication process that forges emotional and intellectual connections between the interests of the audience and the meanings inherent in the resource. CivaTerra employs a Certified Interpretive Trainer and Certified Interpretive Planner and provides the following services:

• Interpretive training (qualified to train individuals to become nationally Certified Interpretive Guides (CIG) through the National Association for Interpretation)
• Theme development
• Trail sign production
• Curriculum development
• Interpretive planning
• Nonformal education program development
